In September 2003, 9 villages in Shizitan Town, 9 villages in Yunji Town, 7 villages in Shihui town and 7 villages in Shuanglong town were merged into Changshou Lake town. As of June 2020, Changshou Lake town has one community and 13 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Changshou Lake town is located in Shizitan community.

In March 1985, Zizhu, huaibi and Anshun in Yunji Township were merged with Donghai, Tiaoshi and Hubian in neighboring Fengxiang township to establish Shizitan town.
