Ersheng town
Ersheng Town, subordinate to Banan District of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Banan District, connecting Dongquan in the East, Jiangjia town and tianxingsi town in the south, Huimin street in the West and Yinglong town in Nan'an District in the south, and Mudong town in the north. It is 50 km away from the people's Government of Banan District, with a total area of 59.96 square kilometers.
In 1707, Ersheng town belonged to Jieli Liujia. In December 1993, Ersheng Township and Tianping Township merged to build Ersheng town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of two towns was 21092. As of June 2020, Ersheng town has one community and six administrative villages, and the people's Government of Ersheng town is located at No. 45, Shengdong road.
In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises in Ersheng Town, including 1 above scale and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. In September 2018, Ersheng town was selected into the demonstration construction list of strong agricultural towns.
History of construction
In 1707, the 46th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the Liujia of Jieli.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), ershengchang was set up as a township level administrative district; in the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), ershengli was called; in June of the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), ershengxiang was built; in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), ershenglianbao was established; in the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), ershengxiang was changed.
In November 1952, Tiansheng township was built in Ersheng Township and Taihe Township; in December of the same year, shita township was built in Ersheng township.
In January 1956, Tianping Township and Shita Township were merged into Ersheng township.
In September 1958, Ersheng commune was rebuilt.
In 1959, it was changed into Ersheng management area; in May of the same year, Tianping management area was set up.
In December 1960, the Ersheng administrative area was changed into Ersheng commune.
In 1982, Ersheng commune was changed into Ersheng township.
In December 1993, Ersheng Township and Tianping Township merged to build Ersheng town.
