Cuiyun street, belonging to Yubei District of Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Yubei district. It is adjacent to Huixing street of Yubei District in the East, Yuanyang street in the south, Yuelai street of Yubei District in the west, shuanglonghu street of Yubei District in the north, and 7.8km away from the residence of Yubei District People's Government in the north, with a total area of 19.1km2.
In 1953, Cuiyun township was set up along Cuiyun street; in December 2005, Cuiyun street was set up by Yuanyang street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Cuiyun street was 31036. As of June 2020, Cuiyun street has four communities under its jurisdiction, and its sub district office is located at No. 3, Cuiyu road.

History of construction
In 1953, Cuiyun township was set up from Yuanyang township.
In 1958, Cuiyun township was incorporated into Yuanyang commune.
In 1962, Yuanyang commune established Cuiyun commune.
In 1984, Cuiyun commune was changed into Cuiyun township.
In 1994, Cuiyun township was merged into Yuanyang town.
In December 2003, Yuanyang town was withdrawn and Yuanyang street was built.
