Ma'an town

Ma'an town is located in the northeast of Zizhong County, 15km away from Zizhong County (Shuinan town), because Ma'anshan got its name here. Ma'an town is 384m above sea level. Ma'an township was established in 1951, Ma'an commune was established in 1958, and Ma'an township was reestablished in 1984. Ma'an town covers an area of 41.45 square kilometers with a total population of 21344 (2017). Zizhong Anyue highway passes through. Ma'an town governs 1 Community (Ma'an community) and 19 administrative villages (Ma'an village, Shibantan village, xiaohezi village, Shiqiao village, maiziwan village, Wuhuang village, huangshiba village, lizichong village, shitongmiao village, xiongjiaxi village, anzipo village, baiyanggou village, longmaqiao village, nanmuyan village, yangjiasi village, Songshu village, tuobaishu Village, gaodongba village and Lianghe Village).
