Guojiatuo Street
Guojiatuo street is located in the east of Jiangbei District, at the exit of Tongluo gorge on the Yangtze River. It is adjacent to Yuzui town in the East, Tieshanping street in the west, Shiping town of Yubei District in the north, Xiakou town of Nan'an District on the south. The terrain in the area is uneven, with the general trend of low in the southeast and high in the north, more hills and less flat land; the valley is long and narrow, and the dry land stretches; on both sides of the valley are hills with a slope of 60-85 degrees. The lowest point is LUOQI temple, 185-190 meters above sea level, and the highest point is Tieshanping, 586 meters above sea level. It covers an area of 23.63 square kilometers (excluding water area), including 10.3 square kilometers of forest and 5.656 square kilometers of cultivated land.

It was once known as LUOQI temple. At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, some people surnamed Guo came here and gradually gathered their families to live. Because of the formation of a large bend at the exit of Tongluo gorge on the Yangtze River, they were named "guojiatuo". Before liberation, guojiatuo belonged to a Bao Village in Yuzui Town, Jiangbei County. It was assigned to the seventh district of Chongqing in 1950 and merged into the Sixth District of Chongqing in 1952. Guojiatuo town was established in 1958 and changed to guojiatuo street in 1978. In March 1995, guojiatuo street was put under the jurisdiction of Jiangbei District from Nan'an District. In 1996, it covers an area of 14 square kilometers and has a population of 30000. It has jurisdiction over 13 neighborhood committees including Guozheng street, Hongjiang village, Heping Village, Zili village, Huangni village, Daxi No.1 village, Daxi No.2 village, Daxi No.3 village, Xinhua Village, Wangjiang village, Youyi village, Xinxin Village, Tongluo village and one administrative village of guojiatuo. In 2006, it has jurisdiction over feilanya, Daxi village, LUOQI temple and guojiatuo village. On June 19, 2008, Chongqing municipal government (Yufu No. 81) approved to put the three administrative villages of Shifo, Lianzhu and Daba in Yuzui town under the jurisdiction of guojiatuo street. Street profile
The sub district office is located near No. 11-36 of Shanjian Shuian community. Guojiatuo got its name from the late Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty. People surnamed Guo came here (now at the forging workshop of the middle dock of Wangjiang factory) to build houses and houses. They gradually gathered their families and expanded the area until the whole bend of the river was owned by the guojiatuo family, so it was called "guojiatuo". Guojiatuo street was originally under the jurisdiction of Nan'an District. It was put under the jurisdiction of Jiangbei District since March 1, 1995, with four neighborhood committees and two village committees. in June 2014, it was adjusted to 4 community neighborhood committees, 13 residents' groups, 2 villagers' committees and 20 cooperatives. In 2010, there were 29270 urban and rural residents in the whole street (2010). On June 17, 2008, according to Yufu Document No. 81, Shifo, Lianzhu and Daba administrative villages in Yuzui town of Jiangbei District were approved to be under the jurisdiction of guojiatuo street. Guojiatuo street and Yuzui town were officially handed over on September 1. The three villages have a total area of 9.5 square kilometers and a total population of 1729 households. The total population of the district is 29586 in 1986, and then the total population gradually decreased, and the trend of population aging is more obvious. By the end of 2005, the total population of the district is 28296, including 28540 resident population, 25851 urban population, 2445 rural population, 390 floating population, and more than 4000 elderly people over 60 years old. The natural growth rate of the population is - 1.41 ‰ In addition, there are 11 ethnic minorities: Hui, Manchu, Tujia, Dulong, Bai, Dong, Zhuang, Buyi, Yi, Miao and Tibetan. domestic transportation: there are waterways up to Chaotianmen and down to Yichang, Hubei Province; the annual throughput of RO Ro Terminal is 300000. Guojiatuo is one of the important bases of machinery manufacturing and processing industry in Chongqing. According to statistics, by the end of 2005, there were 1 large-scale machinery industry enterprise, 12 medium-sized machinery industry enterprises and 28 small-sized machinery industry enterprises in the area. The total output value of township enterprises was 720 million yuan, the operating income was 710 million yuan and the profit was 17 million yuan.
