Shuanghe town

Shuanghe town is located in the northeast of Jiangyou, a famous historical and cultural city in Northwest Sichuan, only 19 kilometers away from the city center, covering an area of 52.46 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee, with a total population of 14781 (2017). The town has a cultivated area of 16608 mu, including 12097 mu of paddy field and 4511 mu of dry land. In 1996, it was awarded the title of "national top 100 towns for afforestation" by the National Green Committee, and in 2002, it was awarded the title of "pollution-free agricultural products production base" by the Provincial Department of agriculture.

On December 25, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Mianyang City (cfzm [2019] No. 27): Xinxing township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Shuanghe Town, and Shuanghe Town People's government was stationed at No. 113, West section of Xinjie.

Resources

Shuanghe town is an irregular long strip with high terrain in the middle and low terrain at both ends. It is a typical shallow hilly terrain with subtropical monsoon climate and abundant sunshine and rainfall. The annual average temperature is 16 ℃, and the annual rainfall is 1200 mm. The annual sunshine time is 1330 hours, and the frost free period is 270 days. There are 1 small (1) reservoir, 5 small (2) reservoirs, 849 shanpingtang, 25000 meters drainage and irrigation channels, rich water sources and reasonable network layout. It is one of the main grain and oil producing areas of Jiangyou.

1. Transportation: Shuanghe town is only 19 kilometers away from the center of Jiangyou City. Baocheng railway and Zhongyan highway run through the whole town, so the transportation is very convenient. Baocheng railway has passenger and freight platforms in the town, so the material trading and transportation are very convenient. Hongyong Road, Shuangxin road and Shuangfeng road are connected with the surrounding towns. Every village in the town has built a 5-meter-wide mud stone road, so that all types of vehicles can be unimpeded in rain or shine.

2. Communication: both post and telecom have set up branches in the town. In 2002, the whole town successfully completed the fixed telephone village connection project, and more than 2500 telephones were connected to the whole city, realizing the local call and domestic long-distance call. At that time, the PHS, known as "green local call", had also been opened in the town. The wireless communication networks of China Mobile and China Unicom covered the whole town.

3. Urban social undertakings: there was only one old street in Shuanghe town before the 1990s. Over the past 10 years, through the planning and construction of successive Party committees and governments, the construction of Shuanghe town has begun to take shape, forming a provincial pilot town with two new and old streets, two farmers' markets and an area of 0.5 square kilometers. In 2001, the government invested 80000 yuan to install 38 new street lamps in the town. At the beginning of 2003, the government invested 36000 yuan to plant more than 300 tianzhugui trees in Xinjie to brighten and beautify the town. In 2002, the government invested 200000 yuan to open natural gas in the town. Two new wells were drilled to solve the drinking water problem of the town residents. By 2002, the town had built one junior middle school, 12 primary schools and 1 kindergarten By. In 2002, the former Yongsheng middle school and Shuanghe junior middle school were merged into Shuanghe middle school. After the merger, the new leading group concentrated the resource advantages of the two schools, so that the software and hardware facilities of the school were strengthened, and the teaching quality and enrollment rate of the school were rising. By 2002, there were 24 doctors and 27 beds in Shuanghe health center, which was a first-class hospital; the fiber optic cable TV of Shuanghe covered the whole town, with a total of more than 2000 users. Receiving 24 sets of satellite TV program signals greatly enriches people's cultural life.

Characteristic agriculture and attracting investment

Jiangyou bieyanghong grain and Oil Co., Ltd. produces "bieyanghong" brand indica rice, fragrant rice and other products, which are exported to both inside and outside the province. The enterprise has formed a business model of company + farmers. As the edible value and economic value of Xiangmi are far higher than that of conventional rice, farmers around the area have changed from conventional rice planting to aromatic rice planting, which has achieved a win-win situation for both enterprises and farmers. The "Taibai edible fungus" production base in Jiangyou city produces more than ten varieties of Flammulina velutipes, chicken mushroom, Coprinus comatus, Auricularia auricula, Pleurotus ostreatus, etc. At present, three production bases have been established in hongbeidian village, niulanggou town and Zhanqi Town, Shuanghe Town, Jiangyou City, with an annual production capacity of 800000 kg of edible fungi; through more than ten years of development, the pollution-free watermelon production base in Shuanghe Town, Jiangyou City has formed a considerable scale, with good appearance, high sugar content and excellent taste. Guihua Village is located beside Zhongyan highway. The first phase of development and planting of the base is 50 mu, which has been put into full production and will reach nearly 200 mu of planting scale. Edible rose is mainly used to extract rose oil, which is rich in a variety of trace elements and belongs to green food. It is widely used in food processing and cosmetics manufacturing. Its medicinal value and health care effect is also very obvious, mainly for liver and stomach qi pain, oral ulcer, irregular menstruation and so on. The "double green brand" animal products produced by animal products breeding base in Shuanghe town of Jiangyou City are exported to Gansu, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Guangyuan and other places. The base has over 800000 small poultry, 40000 piglets and 1.5 million chicks annually. Animal husbandry industry is now the pillar industry of Shuanghe economic development; Jiangyou xiangdangdang feed company develops and cooperates with "200000 pollution-free pig production base".
