Baisheng Town, subordinate to Fuling District of Chongqing City, is located in the north of Fuling District. It is separated from NANTUO town on the south bank by the center line of Yangtze River in the East, adjacent to Jiangbei street in the south, Lidu street and Changshou District in Fuling District by the east foot of Huangcao mountain in the west, and Zhenxi town in the north. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to luoyunli, Fuzhou; in the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the first district of the prefecture and set up Baifu township.
In 1931, it was the Sixth District of Fuling county with Baisheng town. In 1935, Baisheng town was changed into Baisheng township.
In July 1992, Baisheng Township, Hechang Township and riverbank Township were merged to establish Baisheng town.
