Chunqiao Township
Chunqiao township is a township under the jurisdiction of Duchang County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the north of Duchang County, 32 kilometers away from the county seat. It is adjacent to Beiyan Township and xubu town in the southeast, Sushan Township in the north, Liufang, Chengshan and Wushan in Hukou in the northwest and northeast, with an area of 48.25 square kilometers and a population of 16782 (2017).

Historical development
Named after chunqiaotou. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was Meipo Township in Huanshan district. At the beginning of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to the third district. In 1958, it belonged to xubu commune. In 1962, it was divided into four communes: Chunqiao, Guanqiao, Pingfeng and xubu. In 1968, Chunqiao and Guanqiao were merged into Chunqiao commune, and in 1984, they were changed into townships. In 1997, it covers an area of 48.7 square kilometers and has a population of 16000. The township government is located in Maodian street and has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages, namely Yunshan, Laoshan, Guanqiao, Chaoyang, Chunqiao, Fengshan, yanmu and Shifang.
