Henghe Tujia Township, belonging to Wanzhou District of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Wanzhou District, adjacent to Puzi Township in the East, Moudao town of Lichuan City in Hubei Province in the south, Longju town in the west, and Baitu town in the north. It is 75 kilometers away from the government of Wanzhou District, with a total area of 82 square kilometers.
In 1943, it was Henghe Township, belonging to the Sixth District. In March 2001, it was changed from Henghe township to Henghe Tujia township. By the end of 2018, registered residence population in Heng Tujia township was 27641. As of June 2020, Henghe Tujia township has jurisdiction over one community and 13 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 8, Fengkang street, fengyichang.
In Henghe Tujia Township, rice and corn are the main food crops; pig, sheep and poultry are the main animal husbandry; hydropower power generation and building materials are the main industry. In 1943, it was Henghe Township, subordinate to the Sixth District.
