Yinggehai town
Yinggehai Town, subordinate to Ledong Li Autonomous County of Hainan Province, is located in the southwest of Ledong Li Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Yinggehai salt farm, the second largest salt farm in China, in the East, at the junction of Fuluo town in the north, and South China Sea in the West and south. The administrative area of the town is 12.04 square kilometers.
At the end of 1959, Yinggehai commune was established from Hongliu commune. In 1983, Yinggehai District Office was set up. In 1986, the district office was changed into a town. By the end of 2018, 22349 people registered residence in Yinggehai town. As of June 2020, Yinggehai town has jurisdiction over six communities.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Yinggehai town was 2205300 yuan, an increase of 76.35% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax is 1178300 yuan, enterprise income tax is 288900 yuan, and individual income tax is 20100 yuan. The per capita net income was 4650 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%. By the end of 2018, Yinggehai town had one industrial enterprise, including one industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 15 supermarkets or comprehensive stores with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
Yuan, Ming and Qing belong to Yazhou (now Sanya City).
After the reign of Emperor Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty, it has always been written as "Yinggehai".
During the period of the Republic of China, Ya county was set up and Yingge was designated as the city. Later, it was divided into the Fifth District under the jurisdiction of Hongliu commune in Ya county.
In November 1946, it was changed to Yinghai village.
In 1950, it was divided into the Fifth District of Ledong County.
At the end of 1959, Yinggehai commune was established from Hongliu commune.
In 1976, four villages, Futang, Fengtang, laokong and Xinfeng, were put under the jurisdiction of the Foluo commune. At the same time, wanglougang village, which originally belonged to leluo commune, and lingtougang, which originally belonged to Jianfeng commune, were put under the jurisdiction of Yinggehai commune.
In 1983, Yinggehai District Office was set up.
In 1986, the district office was changed into a town.
