Fanyang Town, subordinate to Wuzhishan City, Hainan Province, is located in the northwest of Wuzhishan City, with Maoyang town in the East, maodao Township in the south, Ledong County in the West and Baisha County in the north. Before 1935, fan Yangtong was under the jurisdiction of Ya county. In July 2001, Tongshi city was renamed Wuzhishan City, and Fanyang town was subordinate to Wuzhishan City. As of June 2020, Fanyang town has jurisdiction over five administrative villages, and the people's Government of the town is stationed in Fanyang village.

Historical evolution
Fanyang town is located in the hinterland of the mountain area, which is a minority YaZhai area. Before the Qing Dynasty, the administrative district belonging can not be tested.
Before 1935, fan Yangtong was under the jurisdiction of Ya county.
In March 1935, the national government of Guangdong Province set up Baisha County, Baoting county and Le'an County in Wuzhi Mountain area, put wanyangtong (now Fanyang town) under the jurisdiction of Le'an county (later changed to Ledong County), and established Fanyang township.
From 1948 to 1949, fan (WAN) Yangda township was established, governing Jiaai Township and Bulun township.
In 1950, Fanyang district was established, with jurisdiction over Fanyang Township, Jiaai Township, Maozu Township, kongshou Township and Bulun township.
In 1951, Fanyang township (now Fanyang Town, Wuzhishan City) was subordinate to the Second District of Ledong County.
In March 1958, Wanchong Township and wanyang Township merged to form Wanchong township.
In October 1958, 24 senior communes in Wanchong and Sanping townships and two farms in Wanchong and Toutang merged to form upstream commune, which was later changed into Sanping commune.
In February 1962, Fanyang commune was set up from Sanping commune.
In May 1983, it was renamed Fanyang District, belonging to Ledong County.
In June 1986, Fanyang district was under the jurisdiction of Tongshi city.
In January 1987, it was renamed Fanyang town.
In July 2001, Tongshi city was renamed Wuzhishan City, and Fanyang town was subordinate to Wuzhishan City.
