Tianya District

Tianya district is one of the four municipal districts of Sanya City in Hainan Province. Tianya district is located in the central and western part of Sanya City, between 109.23-109.58 ° E and 18.20-18.63 ° n, bordering Jiyang District in the East, Nanhai District in the south, Yazhou District in the west, Ledong County and Baoting County in the north. Tianya district covers an area of 944 square kilometers. Haiyu west line (g225), the expressway around the island and Hainan West Ring Railway pass through the middle of Tianya district. Tianya district was founded in 2014, formerly known as Tianya town. Because it is located at the end of the earth, it is called "Tianya district". In January 2015, Hexi District, Fenghuang town and Tianya town were officially abolished and Tianya district was established. Tianya district is under the jurisdiction of the former Hexi administrative committee, Fenghuang town and Tianya Town, with a population of 244100 (in 2018). There are 45 Village (neighborhood) committees in the District, including 20 village committees and 25 neighborhood committees.

In 2017, Tianya District achieved a GDP of 18.02 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 7%, accounting for 34% of the city. The proportion of the three industrial structures was adjusted and optimized to 13.1:14.5:72.4, and the proportion of the tertiary industry increased by 1.4 percentage points compared with 2016.

History of construction

Tianya town

At the beginning of the 18th century, Tianya town was a piece of wasteland. Only at the intersection of WenMen road and the north of the village, there were three thatched cottages to open hotels for guests, so it was called Sanjian village.

In the Yazhou annals compiled in the 26th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty from May 1900 to the winter of xinchou, there are more than 20 households in Xiamaling. It is close to the mountain and near the sea, and has a beautiful environment. After being discovered, the fishermen nearby moved to live in the coastal area, forming a fishing village.

In 1949, it was named Xinfu township of Ya county.

In 1958, Maling commune.

In 1966, it was renamed Tianya commune.

In 1984, Tianya town was built.

In August 2001, Tianya town and Yucai Township merged to establish Tianya town.

Tianya District

On February 11, 2014, the State Council approved the withdrawal of six towns and the establishment of four new districts in Sanya City, the abolition of Hexi District, Fenghuang town and Tianya town and the establishment of Tianya district.

On September 22, 2014, the preparatory group of Tianya District of Sanya City was established and entered the substantive stage of "withdrawing towns into districts".

On January 2, 2015, Tianya District of Sanya City held the founding meeting and unveiling ceremony, and the Party committee, government and people's Congress of Tianya district were officially established.

Tianya district is located in the Midwest of Sanya City, between 109.23 ° e-109.58 ° E and 18.20 ° n-18.63 ° n, covering an area of 944 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Jiyang District in the East, Yazhou District in the west, Dahai in the South and Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County in the north.

From north to south, the terrain structure of Tianya region is mountainous, hilly, platform, river valley, plain and so on. Tianya district is high in the north and low in the south. Gaofengpian and Nandao farm are surrounded by mountains with an altitude of 300-900 meters. Jianling is the highest mountain with an altitude of 1019 meters.

The southern region is relatively gentle, with an altitude of 50-100 meters. Between several isolated hills and low mountains with a height of 200-400 meters (Maling), there are small plains with a width of 1-3 kilometers, which are reclaimed for farmland. Along the coast are seawall and lagoon.

The west is close to the lower reaches of Ningyuan River, and the altitude is mostly 100-250 meters, which belongs to gentle slope hilly land. The five small tributaries in the lower reaches of Ningyuan River originate from the town and form several valleys with different widths.

Tianya region belongs to tropical marine monsoon climate, with northeast monsoon period from January to June and southwest monsoon period from June to December. It is characterized by no severe cold in winter, no severe heat in summer, no winter in long summer, continuous autumn and spring, sufficient sunshine, large evaporation, half dry and half wet, sudden rain and cool drought, frequent typhoons, strong rain and strong wind.

The annual average temperature is 25.4 ℃, the average temperature in the coldest January is 21.0 ℃, and the average temperature in the hottest June is 28.5 ℃. There is no serious low temperature, which is very beneficial to the growth of crops.

The average annual rainfall is 1625.0 mm in the northern mountainous area and 1279.3 mm in the southern coastal area. The seasonal distribution of rainfall is also uneven, especially in dry and wet seasons. The rainy season is from April to October, accounting for 90% of the annual rainfall, and the dry season is from November to march of the next year. Tropical storms or typhoons occur on average once or twice a year, with an average annual evaporation of 2266 mm, belonging to semi humid and semi-arid areas.

The annual average sunshine hours is 2518.2 hours. The annual average wind speed of normal wind is about 2.7 m / s, with more easterly winds. The typhoon season is from June to October, with an average of 4.3 typhoons per year.

There are three main rivers in Tianya area. One is the upper reaches of Ningyuan River; the other two are liuluoshui and Shuijiao streams, which originate from fuwanling and daling, flow through Binglang village and Miaolin village, and finally flow into the South China Sea. There are Fuwan reservoir and water source pool reservoir in the upper reaches of liuluoshui, and Tangta reservoir in the upper reaches of shuijiaoxi.

Groundwater: in Tianya area, the thickness of rock formation is less than 100m, there are 2-5 aquifers, the thickness of single layer is generally less than 12M, the thickness of rock formation aquifer is less than 40m, and the unit water content of single layer is generally 1-2l / m.

Surface water: there are three main rivers in Tianya area. iron ore

Yanglan Xincun iron mine is a marginal iron ore body with a geological reserve of 6.68 million tons, which has not been developed and utilized by 2010. The Hongshi iron ore deposit in Gaofeng district has proven reserves of 1.486 million tons of C + D grade iron ore. It is a small-sized deposit with 216-355 meters long and 5.65-34 meters wide, extending 60-120 meters. The ore is mainly magnetite with an iron grade of 31-46%. It has not been developed and utilized by 2010.

Marble mine

Marble is distributed in liuluo, Yaliang, baopo, LuoPeng and other places in Gaofeng township. As of 2010, the Geological Department of liuluo mining area had drilled, with C + D reserves of 1.05 million tons.

Biological resources

Tianya district is located in the peak mountain area in the north of Sanya. It is still the original ecology and full of green mountains. It is known as the "green lung" of Sanya and the largest "green bank" of Sanya. The coral reefs on the East and West islands are national nature reserves. The reservoirs such as Dalong and Fuwan water source pool are the main water sources of Sanya City. There are abundant species of animals and plants, and it is one of the regions with the largest tropical gene pool.

In 2012, Fenghuang town (now Tianya District) invested 11.6 million yuan in water conservancy construction, and continued to promote and deepen the mode of "enterprises, cooperatives and farmers". By the end of December, more than 26800 mu of winter melons and vegetables had been planted; more than 2200 mu of Hami melons had been planted in protected agriculture; more than 31000 mu of early and late rice had been produced; more than 5000 mu of Southern seed production had been produced; 2000 mu of soil testing and formula fertilization had been promoted; 10000 mu of green prevention and control had been planted; 5000 mu of film mulched drip irrigation had been planted; and 3000 mu of modern mechanized seedling had been planted. The output value of the primary industry is 570 million yuan.
