Chedun town
Chedun town belongs to Songjiang District of Shanghai. It is located in the southwest suburb of Shanghai and is the east gate of Songjiang. It is adjacent to Minhang District of Shanghai in the East, Zhongshan and Yongfeng streets of Songjiang District in the west, Huangpu River in the South and Songjiang Industrial Zone in the north. The center coordinates are 121 ° 18'32 "E and 31 ° 01'03" n, 40 km from the center of Shanghai. In 2013, the town covers an area of 45.3 square kilometers, with 16 administrative villages and 3 communities. By the end of 2017, there were 171023 permanent residents. Chedun town has a long history. It is said that it was the hunting and parking place of Wu and Yue officials during the Three Kingdoms period, so it is called "Chedun".
In 2012, the added value of Chedun town was 6637.52 million yuan, and the total industrial and agricultural output value was 22213.02 million yuan, including 22081.01 million yuan of industrial output value, 132.01 million yuan of agricultural output value, and 1662.67 million yuan of retail sales of social consumer goods.
On October 14, 2016, Chedun Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai was identified as the first batch of small towns with Chinese characteristics by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development. On May 24, 2018, Chedun town and Hanjiang town were selected as the top 50 small towns with the most beautiful characteristics.
In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.
History of construction
It belonged to Wu in the spring and Autumn period, Yue and Chu in the Warring States period, Kuaiji in the Qin Dynasty, and Wu in the fourth year of Yongjian in the Eastern Han Dynasty (129).
In the tenth year of Tang Tianbao (751), Zhao Juzhen, the governor of Wu County, set up Huating County, which was subordinate to Huating county.
In 759, Wu County was changed to Suzhou, and Huating County belonged to Suzhou.
In 940, Xiuzhou was established in Jiaxing and Huating county was changed to Xiuzhou.
During the Yuanfeng period of the Northern Song Dynasty (1078-1085), Huating County governed 13 townships, which were located in Huating Township and Xianshan township.
In the first year of Qingyuan (1195) of the Southern Song Dynasty, Xiuzhou was promoted to Jiaxing Prefecture, and Huating County belonged to Jiaxing Prefecture.
In 1277, Huating county was promoted to Huating Prefecture and led by Huating county. A year later, Huating mansion was renamed Songjiang mansion.
In 1292, Shanghai county was established in the northeast of Huating County, which still belongs to Huating county.
In 1542, Qingpu County was established in Huating and Shanghai. In 1656, Lou county was established in the northwest of Huating County, which was changed to Lou County in the west of North Maojing.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Songjiang Prefecture was removed and Huating and Lou counties were merged into Huating County, which was under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province. The county has 24 cities and townships. Huayangqiao market town and Dongwai Street belong to Huating City, while the rest belong to lvdang Township, xiaoqianjing Township and guanshaotang township.
In 1914, Huating county was renamed Songjiang County.
In 1929, the district system was tried out, which was divided into Chengxiang District and guanshaotang district.
In November 1937, the Japanese occupied Songjiang.
In June 1942, Songjiang County was renamed Songjiang special district, which is divided into nine districts. This district belongs to the Fifth District of Songjiang special district, and the district office is located in huayangqiao market town.
In August 1945, the Anti Japanese war was won. The county was divided into seven districts, which belonged to Chengxiang District.
On May 13, 1949, Songjiang was liberated, and the area was under the jurisdiction of the second Township Joint Office of Songjiang County, which was located in huayangqiao market town. In August of that year, the Township Joint Office was abolished and the East District of the city was built. The district government was stationed in huayangqiao market town.
In August 1957, the whole county withdrew the district and merged the township, and the area was rebuilt into Chengdong township.
In September 1958, Chengdong township was transformed into Dongfeng people's commune, which integrates government and society. In November, it was renamed Chengdong people's commune. In November, Songjiang County was transferred from Jiangsu Province to Shanghai.
In March 1978, Chengdong people's commune was divided into Chengdong people's Commune and Gaoqiao people's commune. The Revolutionary Committee of Gaoqiao people's commune was stationed in chedunji town.
In December 1980, Chengdong people's commune was renamed huayangqiao people's commune, and Gaoqiao people's commune was renamed Chedun people's commune.
In April 1984, huayangqiao people's Commune and Chedun people's commune were transformed into huayangqiao Township and Chedun township.
In August 1993, Chedun township was transformed into Chedun town. In July 1994, huayangqiao township was transformed into Huayang town.

In March 1978, Gaoqiao people's commune had 11 production brigades under its jurisdiction.
In the autumn of 1978, Gaoqiao people's commune was divided into three brigades: victory, red flag, workers and peasants, which were divided into six brigades: victory, democracy, red flag, Chedun, workers and peasants, and alliance.
In December 1980, Gaoqiao people's commune was renamed Chedun people's commune.
In April 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. Chedun township has 15 villages under its jurisdiction: Nanxin, Beixin, Gaoqiao (Yingming), sanbang (Hongqi), Chedun, sanzhuang (workers and peasants), Siyu (Alliance), Xinyu (Xingyu), LianJian (Xinjian), Desheng, luoshuidu (democracy), Lianzhuang, Huiqiao (satellite), Yutang (Hongxin) and aquatic products.
In April 1995, Chedun town designated sanzhuang village as Songjiang Industrial Zone.
In May 1999, Desheng village, luoshuidu village and Songpu village of Chedun town were jointly built as Desheng village, Gaoqiao village and Yutang village as Gaoqiao village, Beixin village and Nanxin village as Xinxing village, Xinyu village and Chedun village as Xinyu village, and Sizhen village and sanbang village as Sizhen village.
In January 2001, two towns of Chedun and Huayang were jointly built into Chedun Town, and four villages of Xinyu, Xiangshan, Huayang and Dongmen were designated. The northern part of the town belongs to Songjiang Export Processing Zone.
In December 2002, Xinxing village, Gaoqiao Village (North) and Sitan Village (North) were designated as Songjiang Industrial Zone.
In June 2003, Gaoqiao village and Sidao village were built together as Gaoqiao village, Changzhen village and wujiaqiao village as Changzhen village, and Huayang village and Shuangmei village as Huayang village. In September of that year, Xiangdong community, a new village for resettlement of farmers, was built.
At the end of 2006, there were 16 administrative villages, 234 villager groups, 3 communities and 42 resident groups in the town. They are Gaoqiao village, Xinyu village, LianJian village, Desheng village, Lianzhuang village, Huiqiao village, Lianmin village, Nanmen village, mishidu village, datieqiao village, Yongfu village, ChangLou village, Yangjing village, Xiangshan village, Huayang village, Dongmen Village, qiuchanglu community, Huayang Community and Xiangdong community.

Shagang, one of the ancient hills in the East, is slightly higher, such as Lianzhuang village, Desheng village, LianJian village, Xinyu village and Yangjing village, which are generally about 3.4 meters above Wusong zero; while in the west, it is slightly lower, such as mishidu village, guanshao village and Dabang village, which are generally about 3 meters above Wusong zero. Some high pitched areas, such as Nanfan and Hengbang natural dairies in Lianzhuang village, are 3.7 meters long, and jijiajiao natural dairies in Shuangmei village have 54 mu of land, 4.5 meters long. In some low-lying areas, such as lengshuiwan natural Dai in guanshao village, the ground elevation is only 2.8m.
