Zuozhou town
Zuozhou Town, belonging to Jiangzhou District, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Jiangzhou District, with Tuolu town in the East, Taiping Town in the south, Daxin County in the West and Nalong town in the north. The administrative area of zuozhou town is 209.22 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Zuo town registered residence was 40069.
In Yuan Dynasty, Tam Jimi state was abandoned and left Jimi state was changed into tuzhou. In the 29th year of Zhiyuan (1292), zuotuzhou was changed to Taiping Road. In 1369, zuotu Prefecture was changed into Taiping Prefecture. In the 14th year of Chenghua (1478), zuozhou changed its land to Liuliu, and moved its governance from baluwu, the original Siya village, to Longcun. In 1520, zuozhou moved to the present zuozhou street. In the 1950s and 1960s, zuozhou commune was established. In October 1984, zuozhou commune was changed into zuozhou township. In 1989, zuozhou Township set up 13 village communes and 46 villages. On August 18, 1992, zuozhou township was changed into zuozhou town. As of June 2020, zuozhou town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 12 administrative villages. The town people's government is located in zuozhou new street.
