Bagong town
Bagong town is located in the northwest of Jinchengjiang District, Hechi City, Guangxi Province, 60 kilometers away from the urban area. It is adjacent to Liujia in the southeast, Hechi town in the southwest, Huanjiang County in the northeast, and bianling town in the northwest. The town covers an area of 194 square kilometers. The town is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with an average altitude of 800-1000m. It has a mild climate and abundant rainfall. It is an agricultural town with rich resources and no industrial pollution.
At present, it has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, including Chaoping, Xiaqiao, Dongjiang, Gongwei, ladian, Damo, BEIXIANG and zhaiao, as well as a slope community, 141 Village (inhabitant) groups and 127 natural villages, inhabiting Zhuang, Miao, Yao and Maonan nationalities. In 2006, the total population was 16787, and the total area of cultivated land was 20715 mu (including 14295 mu of paddy field and 6420 mu of dry land), more than 90000 mu of forest land, more than 60000 mu of fruit land and 8000 mu of pastoral land.

There is a Dagou River originating from Libo County, Guizhou Province, which flows through Chaoping, Xiaqiao, slope, Gongwei and ladian villages in the town from the border of Nandan. There is Guangxi Bagong power plant with an installed capacity of 8000 kW, Guangxi Xiaqiao power plant with an installed capacity of 50000 kW and the famous mlojia scenic spot in Hechi. The scenic spots include Heiyizhuang, mengguzhai and Xiaqiao power plant. There are dabayou road running through the town from dashantang to Xiaqiao power plant; Guizhou Guangxi railway passing through Dongjiang, slope, ladian and LaLiao villages and three railway stations in the town; Chaoping, slope and BEIXIANG agricultural markets in the town.
Township Development
The pillar industries include the production base of 20000 mu pollution-free vegetables with an annual output of 2300 tons of chestnut, citrus, Shatian pomelo, grape, watermelon and other fruits, 7500 tons of grain; the old sugarcane area with an annual output of 9000 tons of sugarcane; the production of pond fish and river fish is well-known both inside and outside the area. In 2006, the major projects include: the total investment of new railway line is 220 million, passing through zhaiao, BEIXIANG and Damo villages; the construction of Xiaqiao power plant and the completion of 120 million dam project. BEIXIANG lead zinc mine has a large scale and is normally mined. In 2006, the total output of livestock and poultry meat in the town was 2693 tons, including 2061 large livestock, 26351 pigs, 3647 sheep, 82673 poultry, 5052 large livestock, 11246 pigs, 3647 sheep and 82673 poultry. The total output value of the town was 137.42 million yuan, including 85.81 million yuan of agricultural output value, 580000 yuan of fiscal revenue, 2318 yuan of per capita income of farmers, and 173.39 million yuan of fixed assets investment. All work indicators have reached a new level compared with the previous year. in 2009, the annual GDP was 23508700 yuan, including agricultural GDP of 100.63 million yuan, industrial GDP of 134.457 million yuan, social fixed asset investment of 151.83 million yuan, investment attraction of 18 million yuan, financial revenue of 2.84 million yuan and per capita income of farmers of 3698 yuan, an increase of 11.2% year on year. The slope community of Bagong town in Jinchengjiang district is the largest pollution-free vegetable planting base in our city at present, and it is also the "vegetable basket" production base in the urban area supported by our city, shouldering the "heavy responsibility" of providing fresh vegetables for urban residents. The base plants tomato, pepper, beans, eggplant, cucumber, Chieh Qua and other varieties of vegetables, with a total area of 1150 mu.
