The eight battalion Mongolian Township, belonging to Longhua County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, is located in the western part of Longhua County, adjacent to the Tang Tou Gou Township, Southeast, South and southwest, and adjacent to the blue flag town. The west is adjacent to the old town, northwest is connected with the village of the gully gate, the north is connected with the Bai Hugou Township, the northeast is bounded by the Miao Zi Gou Township, and the area is 188.79 square kilometers. In 1949, it belonged to Bada camp. In 1958, badaying commune was established. In 1984, the commune was abolished and badaying township was established. In 1991, it was rebuilt as badaying Mongolian township. As of June 2020, badaying Mongolian countryside has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages.
In 2018, badaying Mongolian township has one industrial enterprise and three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
