Huangwutun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Qinnan District, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Qinnan District. It is adjacent to Nanzhu street and Dadong town of Qinbei District in the East, Dazhi town of Qinbei district and Maoling town and Tanying town of Fangchenggang City in the west, Kangxiling town in the South and Dasi town of Qinbei District in the north, with a total area of 226.7 square kilometers.
In the pre Qin period, Huangwutun town belonged to Baiyue. In 1930, Huangwutun town was established, belonging to Qin county. In 1941, Huangwutun town was changed into Huangwutun township. In September 1984, Huangwutun commune was changed into Huangwutun Township, belonging to Qinzhou City. In September 1989, huangwudian township was transformed into Huangwutun town. In October 1994, it was transferred to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City. By the end of 2018, the total population of Huangwutun town was 58857, of which the minority population accounted for more than 70% of the total population. It is a minority town in Qinzhou City mainly inhabited by Zhuang nationality. As of June 2020, Huangwutun town has one community and 16 administrative villages.
In 2018, the fixed assets investment of Huangwutun town was 486 million yuan. The total budget revenue of public finance reached 28.7138 million yuan.
History of construction
In the pre Qin period, Huangwutun town belonged to Baiyue. After the first emperor of Qin unified China, Huangwutun was under the jurisdiction of Xiang county.
From Han Dynasty to Jin Dynasty, Huangwutun belonged to Hepu County of Jiaozhou.
At the end of the Southern Dynasty, Yuanjia was set up as the end of Shoujun, and Anzhou was set up in the Liang Dynasty.
In the fifth year of Wude (622), ningyue county was changed into Qinzhou general office.
In Yuan Dynasty, it was changed to Qinzhou road.
In 1930, Huangwutun town was established, belonging to Qin county. In 1941, Huangwutun town was changed into Huangwutun township.
In the spring of 1951, there were 12 small townships (towns), still belonging to Qin county.
In July 1957, it was put under the jurisdiction of Qinbei Tong Autonomous County, with three townships: Huangwutun, Tunan and tunxian. In the autumn of the next year, the three townships were merged into Dasi commune. On November 15 of the same year, it was restored to Qin county and set up Huangwutun commune.
In September 1984, Huangwutun commune was changed into Huangwutun Township, belonging to Qinzhou City.
In September 1989, huangwudian township was transformed into Huangwutun town.
In October 1994, it was transferred to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City.

Maoling river is 21 km long from jinjiping village of Tunli village committee to Hongfen village of Tianliao village committee, and its tributaries are Xijiang River, Tanying River, Tangying River and Bailang River, with a total length of 43.3 km.
