Kangxiling town

Kangxiling Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Qinnan District, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Qinnan District, 12 kilometers away from the urban area. It is adjacent to Nanzhu street and Jianshan street in the East, Maoling township of Fangcheng district across the river in the southwest, MaoWeiHai in the South and Huangwutun town in the northwest. The administrative area is 92.07 square kilometers (the total land area is 89.2 square kilometers), and the coastline is 42.5 kilometers long.

From the first year of Liang Datong (535) to the seventh year of Hongwu (1374) in the Ming Dynasty, Yushan County (later named Huaqing), Ninghai County and Anjing county (later renamed Anyuan) successively belonged to the southern and Northern Dynasties. Qing Dynasty, belongs to Qinzhou. In September 1984, Kangxiling commune was changed into Kangxiling township. In September 1993, Kangxiling township was changed into Kangxiling Town, belonging to Qinzhou City. In October 1994, Kangxiling town was transferred to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City. By the end of 2018, Kangxiling town had a population of 47200. As of June 2020, Kangxiling town has 12 administrative villages, and the town government is located at No. 1 Kangxiling West Road.

In 2018, the financial revenue of Kangxiling town was 20.7032 million yuan.

History of construction

From the first year of Liang Datong (535) to the seventh year of Hongwu (1374) in the Ming Dynasty, Yushan County (later named Huaqing), Ninghai County and Anjing county (later renamed Anyuan) successively belonged to the southern and Northern Dynasties.

Qing Dynasty, belongs to Qinzhou.

In 1930, there were two townships, pangcheng and Gaosha, belonging to Qin county. In 1941, Shajing township was established.

In 1950, it was set up near urban and rural areas. The next spring, eight small townships were set up.

In October 1957, eight small townships were merged into Jianshan and Kangxiling townships. The following autumn, the two townships were merged into Qinzhou commune.

In June 1959, Kangxiling commune was established.

In the spring of 1963, Kangxiling commune was merged into Fucheng commune, belonging to Tongzu Autonomous County of Qinzhou.

On March 29, 1966, Kangxiling commune was re established, belonging to Qinzhou county.

In September 1984, Kangxiling commune was changed into Kangxiling township.

In September 1993, Kangxiling township was changed into Kangxiling Town, belonging to Qinzhou City.

In October 1994, Kangxiling town was transferred to Qinnan District of Qinzhou City.

By the end of 2011, Kangxiling town had 12 administrative villages: Xinnan, Xinying, Tuanhe, Changpo, Hengshan, Banping, Baiji, Shijia, Xinping, Xiwei, Gaosha and pangqin, and 177 villager groups.

By the end of 2018, Kangxiling town has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages and 177 villager groups.

As of June 2020, Kangxiling town has 12 administrative villages: Gaosha village, Xiwei village, Xinping village, Shijia village, Baiji village, Banping village, Hengshan village, Changpo village, Tuanhe village, Xinying village and Xinnan village. The town government is stationed at No.1 Kangxi West Road.

Kangxiling town is located in the southwest of Qinnan District, 12 kilometers away from the urban area, adjacent to Nanzhu street and Jianshan street in the East, facing Maoling township of Fangcheng district across the river in the southwest, MaoWeiHai in the South and Huangwutun town in the northwest. Kangxiling town is located in the coastal low hilly area, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The highest point is located in huangniuling, Xinying village, with an altitude of 115.3 meters; the lowest point is located in laohuangdun, Tuanhe village, with an altitude of 0.6 meters.

Kangxiling town has a subtropical marine monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. It is rainy in spring, hot and rainy in summer, cool and dry in autumn, cold and frost free in winter. The annual average temperature is 22 ℃. The annual frost free period is 350 days, the annual average sunshine hours is 1782.9 hours, the annual average rainfall is 2104.2 mm, and the annual average rainfall days is 171 days.

The eastern part of Kangxiling town belongs to Qinjiang River system, and the western part belongs to Maoling river system. The total length of Maoling river is 12.8 km; the total length of Dalan River, a tributary of Qinjiang River, is 9.8 km.

The main mineral resources in Kangxiling town are ilmenite sandstone and so on. The reserves of ferrotitanium and sandstone are 80000 m3 and 100 million m3 respectively.

At the end of 2011, Kangxiling town had a total population of 32546, including 10461 permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 32.14%. There are also 3269 floating population. In the total population, there are 17553 males (53.93%) and 14993 females (46.07%). In the total population, the Han nationality is the main, reaching 28061, accounting for 86.22%; there are 12 ethnic minorities, such as Zhuang, Yao, Miao, accounting for 13.78%. In 2011, the birth rate was 25.3 ‰, the death rate was 4.28 ‰, and the natural growth rate was 21.02 ‰.

At the end of 2017, there were 42784 permanent residents in Kangxiling town.

In 2018, Kangxi town has a grain planting area of 50000 Mu and a total grain output of 12200 tons. In the whole year, the area of mechanized farming was 5280 hectares, and the subsidy fund for agricultural machinery purchase was 120600 yuan.

In 2018, Kangxiling town completed 1792.2 mu of afforestation, including 719 mu of mangrove planted in Tuanhe village, 200.1 mu of artificial reforestation, 873.1 mu of slash sprout regeneration, 50000 trees planted by the whole people, and 5000 mu of young and middle-aged forest tending. We carried out the work of checking the lack of forest property rights, corrected 12 forest property rights, filled up the gaps and corrected the area of 410.27 mu for the three teams in Xinying village.

At the end of 2011, Kangxiling town had 14 kindergartens with 109 children and 41 full-time teachers; 14 primary schools with 2749 students and 259 full-time teachers; and 1 junior middle school with 948 students and 93 full-time teachers. The enrollment rate of primary school-age children, the enrollment rate of junior middle school-age population, the enrollment rate of primary school to primary school, and the coverage rate of nine-year compulsory education are all 100%. Poverty alleviation

In 2018, Kangxiling town issued 413800 yuan of industrial awards and subsidies to help 150 poor households develop their industries. 59 poverty-stricken students were subsidized with the rain and dew program policy, and the special fund for poverty alleviation in education was 99000 yuan. There were 1198 registered family doctors in poor households, and the service rate reached 100%. 134 patients from poor families were entitled to basic medical reimbursement totaling 909200 yuan, and the actual individual reimbursement rate was more than 90%. 2.66 million yuan was invested to support the development of village collective economy in four poor villages.
