Gongcheng town
Gongcheng Town, Gongcheng Town, Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County, adjacent to Ping'an Township in the East, Shasha town of Pingle County in the west, Lianhua town in the South and Xiling town in the north, with an administrative area of 9310 hectares. In 1934, Chengxiang town was established. In May 1980, the original village level Chengxiang town was changed to township level town, called Gongcheng town. In September 1989, Chengxiang township was withdrawn and rengong town was merged. By the end of 2017, the total number of registered residence in the town was 18019, with a total population of 57300. Among them, 23413 were Yao people, accounting for 40.86% of the total population. As of the end of 2019, 5 communities and 14 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of the government, and 11 of the town government in Yan Xin Road.
In 2017, the annual disposable income of urban residents in Gongcheng was 30551 yuan, and the annual per capita net income of farmers was 11880 yuan. The annual revenue was 50.6 million yuan, including 25.88 million yuan of state tax and 11.77 million yuan of local tax.
History of construction
In 1934, Chengxiang town was established.
In April 1950, it belonged to the first district.
In October 1955, each district was changed to the name of place name, belonging to the yuewan district.
On September 1, 1958, Chengxiang people's commune was established, under the jurisdiction of the original Chengxiang town and Lewan township.
In May 1980, the original village level Chengxiang town was changed into a township level town, called Gongcheng Town, which governs the Jiangbei and Hongxing brigades of the original streets and Chengxiang commune.
In July 1984, the government and society were separated, and the Township People's government was established. Chengxiang commune was changed into a township, and 11 villagers' committees were set up. In the same year, Gongcheng town had 3 villagers' committees and 5 neighborhood residents' committees.
In 1987, the village committee was transformed into a village office.
In September 1989, Chengxiang township was removed and rengong town was merged. Five neighborhood committees were merged into Gongcheng Town neighborhood committee. Gongcheng town governs 14 village offices and 1 neighborhood committee.
