Ningwu town

Ningwu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Wuming District, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Wuming District, connecting Shuangqiao town in the East, Ganwei town in the south, Shuangding town in XiXiangTang District of Nanning city and Dingdang town in Long'an County in the west, Luowei town and ASEAN Economic Development Zone (Lijian) in the north, with a total administrative area of 253.98 square kilometers.

In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, most of the rural areas belonged to Lechang Township, while a small part of the western areas belonged to Yongning township. In September 1984, Ningwu township was established. In December 1994, the township was removed to build a town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Ningwu town was 41044. As of October 2019, Ningwu town has one community and 13 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 48 industrial enterprises in Ningwu Town, including 6 above scale and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, most of the rural areas belonged to Lechang Township, while a small part of the western areas belonged to Yongning township.

At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, they were Chang'an and Longwei regiments in the Southern District and Liangwei regiment in the central district. In the middle of the Republic of China, it belonged to Changlong Township, Liangxin Township and Ningwu Township in Southern District.

After liberation, it was divided into Ningwu district and the Fourth District, including Ningwu Township, Liangxin Township and Chang'an township.

After August 1958, it became Hongyi people's Commune and Ningwu people's commune.

In September 1984, Ningwu township was established.

In December 1994, the township was removed to build a town.
