Jinyang town
Jinyang Town, belonging to Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located in the northern suburb of Liangzhou District, adjacent to Zhongba town and Fangfa town in the East, Liangzhou city in the south, Baishu town and Jinsha Town in the west, and Yongchang Town in the north. The area is 16.98 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Jinyang town was 48812.
Jinyang town is adjacent to Shiyang River in the West and belongs to Jinta River irrigation area, so it is named after "Jin" and "Yang". After September 1949, it belongs to Jinyang District. In 1984, Jinyang Township, Xianxian Township and Jinsha Township merged into Jinyang township. In October 1997, the township of Jinyang was removed to build a town. As of June 2020, Jinyang town has jurisdiction over 7 communities and 15 administrative villages. The town people's government is located in guojiazhai village.

History of construction
From the Western Han Dynasty to the "five Liang" period of the Sixteen States, Jinyang town belonged to guzang County, Wuwei County.
From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the early Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Linzhong County of Wuwei County.
During the Tang and Song Dynasties, it returned to guzang county.
Yuan, Yongchang Road is West Liangzhou.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was successively returned to liangzhouwei county and Wuwei County.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), they belonged to Jinyang and Jinta townships of Wuwei County.
After September 1949, it belongs to Jinyang District.
In January 1952, it belongs to the first district (Jinyang).
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Jinyang township.
In October 1958, Jinyang, Jinsha and Zhongba townships merged to form Jinyang commune.
In 1962, it was divided into Jinsha, Zhongba, Jinyang and Xianxian communes.
In 1983, Jinyang and Xianxin townships were set up.
In 1984, Jinyang Township, Xianxian Township and Jinsha Township merged into Jinyang township.
In November 1991, it was divided into Jinyang and Jinsha townships.

Songtao temple is located in Songtao village, Jinyang town. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt in September of the fourth year of the Ming Dynasty (1439) and rebuilt again in March of the ninth year of the Qing Dynasty (1731). Due to the towering pines and cypresses in the temple, the wind blows and the sound of waves, so it is called Songtao temple.
