Changcheng township is located in the northeast corner of Wuqi County, 70 kilometers away from the county. It is bounded by tuquangou in the East and faces Zhongshan Jian Township in Jingbian County. In the west, it is bounded by shiguaizigou and adjacent to zhouwan town. It connects Jingbian County in the north and Wugu urban and rural areas in the south. It is 12 kilometers wide from east to west and 24 kilometers long from north to south, covering a total area of 167.7 square kilometers. The suitable Salix psammophila, Salix foggyi and Salix Hongliu make it as the demonstration site of women's participation project of the United Nations Population Fund together with zhouwan Town, and the willow weaving products sell well at home and abroad. agricultural commodity bases such as sunflower, potato, watermelon, grain, oil, flue-cured tobacco, apricot for kernel, grass and feed processing have been initially formed in the territory, and agricultural export processing has a good development prospect. Ningsaicheng, now a Chuang Tzu in Huangjian village of Changcheng Township, is the original site of ningsaibao, the old Castanopsis city and the land of Ningxia. In the 11th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty, Yu Zijun founded ningsaibao. The existing ancient Qin Great Wall is 13.25 km long. The Bianqiang reservoir is located at the foot of the ancient Great Wall at the mouth of Bianqiang canal in Changcheng Township, with a height of 70 meters. It is the highest water drop dam in China, with a maximum storage capacity of 32.5 million cubic meters. It has great potential for fishery development, including carp, crucian carp, grass carp, silver carp, etc.

The total number of households is 1572, and the total population is 7254, including 117 non-agricultural population, with a population density of 39 people / km2. It has jurisdiction over 11 villager committees, 69 villager groups and 125 natural villages. There are 44 Township resident health centers, broadcasting stations, film projection teams, finance stations, cultural stations, junior middle schools, irrigation stations, grain stations, credit cooperatives, posts and Telecommunications stations, veterinary stations, acquisition stations, supply and marketing cooperatives and individual businesses. In 1475, Yu Zijun established ningsaibao in Huangjian administrative village, which was under the jurisdiction of Jingbian County. In 1731, it was under the jurisdiction of Jingbian County. In 1942, when Wuqi County was established, it was shuangwanjian Township, Luojian district. In 1958, it was incorporated into zhouwan commune. In 1961, the new commune moved to sun yaotan. Because it was at the foot of the ancient Great Wall, it was renamed Great Wall people's commune. In 1984, it was changed into Great Wall Township. It mainly produces millet, millet, buckwheat, sunflower and potato. There are 2032 large livestock and 8129 sheep in the township. There are 27 township enterprises including vermicelli factories (2 township enterprises, 2 village enterprises and 21 joint household enterprises), with 76 employees. Changzhong (mountain stream) highway leads to Yulin through Zhongshan stream in Jingbian County, zhouwan (city) highway leads to Yinchuan through zhouwan and haotan in Dingbian County in the west, and Wuqi (city) highway leads to Yan'an through Wugu city in the south. there are 1 junior middle school, 17 primary schools, 1 health center, 5 beds and 5 medical staff. most of the farmers stay in the mountain near the edge of the stream land to build earth kilns or surround them with soil base.
