Saddle Town, belonging to Chengde County, Chengde City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Chengde County, adjacent to the new Zhang Zi Township, Southeast, South and Liu Zhang Zi Township, southwest, West and East, and the small Bai Qi township. North connects with the Yingying Township, Luanping County, with a total area of 186.93 square kilometers. As of 2018, the registered residence population is 16917.
In 1949, it was the Fifth District of Chengde County. In 1984, the commune was abolished and the township of Anjiang was rebuilt. In 1989, Yijianfang village, Wanzi village, Nangou village, Hougou village and Liudaogou village in Yijianfang Township were merged. In July 2015, with the approval of Hebei provincial government, Anjiang township was abolished and Anjiang town was established. As of June 2020, Anjiang town has 13 administrative villages.

Historical evolution
In 1949, it was the Fifth District of Chengde County.
In 1958, Chengde City and county merged to build Anjiang commune, which belongs to Chengde city.
In 1961, Chengde City and county were divided into six communes, namely Anjiang, Liuzhangzi, xiaobaiqi, Jinchang, Yijianfang and Xinzhangzi.
In 1984, the commune was abolished and the township of Anjiang was rebuilt.
In 1989, Yijianfang village, Wanzi village, Nangou village, Hougou village and Liudaogou village in Yijianfang Township were merged.
