Langtou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhenxing District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Zhenxing District, reaching Yalu River in the East, Anmin town in the West and south, and Xicheng sub district office in the north, with an administrative area of 33.14 square kilometers.
In August 1945, Langtou District People's government was established under the direct control of Anton municipal government; in November 1985, Langtou street and Langtou Township merged again to form Langtou town under the jurisdiction of Zhen'an District; in January 2000, Langtou town was transferred from Zhen'an District to Zhenxing District. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 26560. As of June 2020, Langtou town has 5 communities and 7 administrative villages.

History of construction
In August 1945, Langtou District People's government was established under the direct control of Anton municipal government.
In April 1957, Langtou township was established.
In July 1961, the wave commune was divided into two parts, wave commune and Anmin commune.
In 1965, Langtou street was separated from Langtou commune to form Langtou street.
In November 1985, Langtou street and Langtou Township merged again to form Langtou Town, which was under the jurisdiction of Zhen'an District.
In January 2000, Langtou town was transferred from Zhen'an District to Zhenxing District.
In May 2008, Langtou town was transferred from Zhenxing District to Dandong border economic cooperation zone.
