Because there is a small hill behind Shangjie village in WeiNei, which looks like a goose, it was called "e'shan" after it was built. After the Southern Song Dynasty, the population of the Central Plains moved to the south, and the E-port was developed. Facing the South Gate sea, the commercial transportation developed in the Ming Dynasty. There were docks, fishing boats and freight ships berthing in the South Gate sea, and the merchants gathered to form a commercial port, so it was called E-port.
