Jiaju town is subordinate to Kangding City, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It has jurisdiction over Nie GA township (except foyeyan area of Jia Ju San Village) and Nie La village, Xiao Bawang village and Xiao Nie GA village of Bawang township. The people's Government of Jiaju town is located at No. 17, group 4, Nie GA village.

In April 2020, Jiaju town was named as the advanced town of Sichuan Province in implementing the Rural Revitalization Strategy in 2019.

Historical evolution

In December 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ganzi Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in six counties (cities), including Kangding city. Donggu Township, Shuizi Township, dongnugu Township, niega Township and yuezha Township were abolished, and Donggu Town, mordoshan town and Jiaju town were established.

Honors

In April 2020, Jiaju town was named as the advanced town of Sichuan Province in implementing the Rural Revitalization Strategy in 2019.

On July 29, 2020, it was named "2017-2019 cycle National Health township" by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.
