Gangping town is located in the west of HUAIJI County. It is the intersection of two provinces and three cities (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangdong Province, Fengkai County, HUAIJI County, Hezhou City). It is also the throat of Zhaoqing Dahuan road leading to Guangxi and Fengkai. Er Guang Expressway passes by, with convenient transportation, 28 kilometers away from the county seat.
