Xinzhuangzi Township, belonging to Xiahuayuan District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Xiahuayuan District, facing Huayuan Township across laolongbei in the East, dengjiatai Township in the south, gujiaying Township in Xuanhua District in the West and jiajiaying Township in the north. It is 10km away from the people's Government of Xiahuayuan District, with a total area of 76.26km2.

In November 1958, it was assigned to Xiahuayuan district; in 1984, it was changed from Xinzhuangzi commune to Xinzhuangzi township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xinzhuang township was 5270. As of June 2020, Xinzhuangzi township has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Xinzhuangzi village.

History of construction

In November 1958, it was assigned to Xiahuayuan district.

In June 1961, it was transferred to Xuanhua county and belonged to gujiaying commune; in the same year, Xiangshuipu commune was established.

In 1982, Xiangshuipu commune was changed into Xinzhuangzi commune.

In 1984, Xinzhuangzi commune was changed into Xinzhuangzi township.

In February 1990, it was assigned to Xiahuayuan district.
