Paoliang Township, belonging to Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Chicheng County, adjacent to Chicheng town in the East, diao'e town in the southeast, Longguan town in the southwest, Chongli District in the northwest, and zhenningbao Township in the north. It is 15.5 kilometers away from the people's Government of Chicheng County, with a total area of 155.67 square kilometers.
In 1914, paoliang Township belonged to Longguan County; in 1984, it was changed from paoliang commune to paoliang township.
