Ruiyunguan Township, belonging to Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Huailai County, bordering Kangzhuang town of Yanqing County in the East, Mentougou District of Beijing in the south, xiaonanxinbao town in the West and donghuayuan town in the north. It is 27.7 kilometers away from the people's Government of Huailai County, with a total area of 118.3 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, ruiyunguan township was a district of Huailai County; in April 1996, it was renamed ruiyunguan Township from Dashankou township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Ruyun Guan township was 6050. As of June 2020, ruiyunguan township has jurisdiction over 1 community and 11 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Dashankou village.
In 2018, ruiyunguan Township had 22 industrial enterprises and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, ruiyunguan Township belonged to Huailai County.
In December 1949, it belonged to four districts of Huailai County.
In July 1953, Dashankou township was established.
In August 1956, Dashankou township was renamed ruiyunguan township.
In August 1958, it belonged to garden commune.
In 1961, ruiyunguan commune was established from Huayuan commune.
In July 1982, ruiyunguan commune was renamed Dashankou commune.
In May 1984, Dashankou commune was changed into Dashankou township.
In April 1996, HENGLING township was merged into Dashankou Township, and Dashankou township was renamed ruiyunguan township.

Ruiyunguan township is a stone city, which is divided into three streets, six lanes and 72 hutongs, with North and South streets and East and West lanes. The houses used to be Siheyuan, mostly made of stone; there was a bell tower and 12 temples in the middle of the city. There is a 5-meter-wide brick arch gate in the middle of the east city. There is a plaque on the top of the gate, which reads "zhenbiancheng". At the north gate of the city, there was a stone tablet, which recorded the time when the city was built. There is a memorial archway at the South Gate of the city, and there are three turrets on the west wall opposite the northwest corner, southwest corner and East Gate of the city.
Dayingpan Great Wall
Dayingpan Great Wall is located in ruiyunguan township. It was built in 1520. Dayingpan Great Wall is a section of the great wall of Ming Dynasty. It connects the great wall of juhuguan in Fangkou village in the East and the great wall of Yangbian in Miaogong village in the southwest. All of them are built with stones, neat and well proportioned.
