Tumu Town, subordinate to Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Huailai County, bordering Langshan Township in the East, Guanting Lake in the south, Huailai County in the west, and Yanshan Mountain in the north. It is 8 kilometers away from the people's Government of Huailai County, with a total area of 93.54 square kilometers.
In December 1949, tumu town was divided into three districts of Huailai County; in November 2002, it was changed from Tumu township to tumu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 24166. As of June 2020, Tutu town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 23 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in paoer village.
In 2018, there were 14 industrial enterprises in tutu Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 59 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In December 1949, it was the third district of Huailai County.
In July 1953, the district was withdrawn to build a township, which became a civil engineering township.
In August 1958, it belonged to Dongfeng (Langshan) commune.
In April 1961, it was separated from Dongfeng (Langshan) commune and established civil engineering commune.
In May 1984, Tutu commune was changed into Tutu township.
In April 1996, gujiayao township was merged into Tutu township.
In November 2002, it was changed from Tutu township to Tutu town.
