Historical evolution

In 1948, Sihe Street belonged to Chaolin Town, the first district of Nanping County in 1949, Yanping commune in Nanping City in 1958, and Sihe street was set up in 1982.

In 1997, with an area of 34.3 square kilometers and a population of 41000, it has jurisdiction over 13 neighborhood committees and Shangyang village committees in Yanfu, Zizhi, Fuqian, Jinxian, Zhoujin, yangzhentang West, yangzhentang East, Xinjian, Ximen, guanshatian, Changsha, Xixi and Shaxikou.
