Travel
Laoche village, miaoertan Town, Longshan County, located in the basin of washihe River, a tributary of Youshui River, is an ancient Tujia village. The countryside is beautiful and the landscape is picturesque. The laoche River, which is clear and blue and can be seen at the bottom of the river, follows the convex and concave foot of the mountain. Sometimes the river becomes a flat pool, sometimes the water rushes fast, just like the blue ribbon cast by the celestial being from the sky. The trees on both sides of the river are verdant, and the ancient trees are towering. All these constitute a huge beautiful picture of beautiful scenery. In spring, it is more beautiful than fairyland. The women here are not only beautiful, but also good at weaving Tujia brocade, no matter young or old. They also vividly reflect the pastoral scenery of Tujia mountain town. At present, seven River docks have been renovated, with 1.5-meter-wide village paths paved with bluestone slabs, forming three horizontal and four vertical paths, with a total length of 2758 meters; along the village road, wooden houses on both sides of the stone path, stilts and deep green forest are covered with red lanterns. When night comes, red lanterns are shining with bright red lights, dotted with the beautiful night scenery of laoche river. It's really enjoyable and unforgettable. The waving hall, chongtian building, folk custom museum, Tujia brocade workshop, tourist reception room, the world's longest wind and rain bridge, and natural willow forest parking lot all add a beautiful pastoral landscape to laoche village, an ancient Tujia village.
