Lefutang township is located in Daoxian County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, between 111 ° 26 ′ 31 ″ - 111 ° 34 ′ 25 ″ E and 25 ° 37 ′ 37 ″ - 25 ° 43 ′ 1 ″ n. In October 1958, it was part of the advanced people's commune. In 1961, lefutang people's commune was established, belonging to the fourth district. It belongs to Shouyan District in 1978. In April 1984, it was changed to lefutang township.
