Luyang Town, belonging to Beizhen City, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Beizhen City, bordering Goubangzi street in the East, Tianshui farm in Panjin City in the southeast, Santaizi town in Linghai city in the southwest and changxingdian town in the north, with an administrative area of 79.78 square kilometers.
In 1130, Fengling county was renamed Luyang County; in 1984, Luyang township was renamed town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Luyang town was 30528. As of June 2020, Luyang town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Luyi village.
In 2011, the general budget revenue of Luyang town was 10.053 million yuan, an increase of 101.1% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 9000 yuan. In 2018, there were 16 industrial enterprises in Luyang Town, including 2 above scale and 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1130, Fengling county was renamed Luyang county.
In the Ming Dynasty, Luyang post was set up.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, Luyang township was set up, belonging to six districts of Beizhen county.
In 1956, the six districts were changed into Luyang township.
In January 1958, Luyang township was transformed into Luyang commune.
In 1983, Luyang commune was transformed into a township.
In 1984, Luyang township was transformed into a town.
