Mandetang Township, belonging to Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Kangbao County. It is adjacent to Tunken town in the East, Kangbao town in the south, Huade County in Inner Mongolia in the West and zhaoyanghe town in the north. It is 12.5km away from the people's Government of Kangbao County, with a total area of 296.66km2.
In January 1949, man de Tang Township belonged to six districts of Kangbao County; in April 1984, man de Tang commune was changed into man de Tang township. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in man Tang Tang was 15126. As of June 2020, mandetang has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in mandetang village.
In 2018, there were 13 industrial enterprises and 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in mandetang township. On July 24, 2019, mandetang township was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.

In January 1949, man de Tang Township belonged to six districts of Kangbao County.
In September 1958, it was called man de Tang commune.
In April 1984, it was changed from man de Tang commune to man de Tang township.
