Kangbao Town, belonging to Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Kangbao County. It is adjacent to yanyoufang Township and Tunken town in the East, Zhangji town in the south, lujiaying Township and mandetang Township in the West and North. It is the resident of Kangbao County People's government, with a total area of 329.03 square kilometers.

In the early days of liberation, Kangbao town was a district of Kangbao County; in 1987, it was changed from Chengguan town to Kangbao town. History of construction

In the early days of liberation, it belonged to Kangbao County.

In 1949, Kangbao town was established.

In 1958, rocket commune was established.

In 1961, rocket commune was merged into Chengguan commune.

In 1965, Chengguan commune was changed into Chengguan town.

In 1987, Chengguan town was renamed Kangbao town.

In 1996, Kangbao Township and daoyindi Township were merged into Kangbao town.
