Shanjie Hui Township is located in the southern border of longhui County, connecting Beishan town in the East, Shuangpai Township in Wugang City in the south, sangesi Township in the West and Taohong town in the north. The township government is 5km away from the county.

Historical evolution
The old Wugang County Ziyang township. In April 1950, it was assigned to longhui County. In September 1956, after the merging of yuanshanjie, Xinlong, Jinlong and other small townships, Shanjie Hui Township was established with the approval of the provincial government. in September 1958, in the change of the people's commune's "political and social integration" system, the ethnic township was abolished, and the Shanjie Hui Township was merged into the red flag commune. in 1961, Ziyang district was established. When the red flag commune was divided into 11 communes, the National People's commune was established. in 1978, the former Tianfu commune was incorporated. In March 1982, with the approval of the provincial people's government, Tianfu commune was separated and Shanjie Hui people's commune was established. in April 1984, she was removed from the village and renamed Shanjie Hui village. in June 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Luobai township.

The cattle and sheep should be in good shape and without defects. According to the tradition, the slaughtered animals are divided into three parts, one for the poor, one for relatives and friends, and one for their own consumption, but not for sale.
