It receives the radiation from the urban area and is about 28 km away from the urban area. Huangjing, a famous town of chemical fiber Jiatan in China, the first town of Jiatan in China, and the first town of silk and bamboo in Jiangnan, is a bright pearl inlaid in the northeast of Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, and on the South Bank of the Yangtze River Estuary. It is located at the intersection of the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta and the coastal open belt, the most active economic region in China, covering an area of 83.55 square kilometers. It has two management areas, 13 villages and 4 communities.
Huangjing town is one of the top 100 towns in Jiangsu Province, civilized town in Suzhou, National Health Town, science and Technology Town, credit town and Ping'an town in Suzhou. In 2018, the national health county (township) was reconfirmed. On July 24, 2019, Huangjing town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019. In October 2019, Huangjing town was selected as one of the "Top 1000 towns with comprehensive strength in China in 2019".
Evolution of organizational system
In the Xianhe period of Jin Dynasty (326-334), Huangjing was recorded, belonging to Shuangfeng township of Haiyu county.
Changshu county was set up in Liang Dynasty (502-557).
In 589, Haiyu county was merged into Changshu, and Huangjing changed with the change of Shuangfeng township.
In the Tang Dynasty (618-907), there were market towns. When the Southern Song Dynasty moved its capital to Lin'an, a descendant of the Zhao royal family moved to Huangjing, and the town became increasingly prosperous, known as Juzhen.
In the early Ming Dynasty (1368), it was attacked by war and rebuilt in the Chenghua period.
In the 10th year of Hongzhi (1497), Shuangfeng Township belonged to Taicang Prefecture, and Huangjing was directly under the state territory.
In 1724, Taicang Prefecture was divided into four counties, Jiading, Chongming, Baoshan and Zhenyang. Huangjing was a township under the jurisdiction of Taicang Prefecture. After the revolution of 1911, prefectures and counties merged,
Taicang county was established in the first year of the Republic of China (1912).
In 1993, after Taicang county was removed to build a city, Luhe and wangxiu towns were merged into Huangjing town.
administrative division
As of March 2012, Huangjing town has set up 2 management areas, 13 villages and 4 communities.
geographical environment
landforms
Huangjing town was the sea in ancient times. According to the records of the old records, four or five thousand years ago, there was a "Gangshen" (ancient coastline) on the west side of yantietang in Taicang. Huangjing was to the east of "Gangshen", so the time of land formation should be pushed back. According to geographers, five thousand years ago, the estuary of the Yangtze River was near Jiangyin. The Yangtze River with sediment flows eastward and gradually deposits, expanding about 1 km every 40 years. According to this calculation, Huangjing was formed about 2500 years ago. The terrain is slightly lower in the south, slightly higher along the river, and the ground height is about 5 meters above sea level.
It is situated on the north side of the river, the east side of the sea, the west side of Qianjing, and the south side of Fanshan (a Chuanshan). Fanshan is a solitary peak, which is actually a reef in the sea. After sediment accumulation, it becomes a remnant mound on the land plain, regardless of the height of the ground. According to Sang Yue's Zhou Zhi, "in the orthodox Ming Dynasty, the people near the mountain dug the pool to get the mast, and the end diameter was two inches. It was not unreasonable to cross the sail." This proves that Chuanshan was an isolated island in the sea in ancient times (it was mined into flat land in the early 1950s), and it can be believed that Huangjing was a sea before it became a land.
soil
According to the results of soil survey in 1983, the parent material of Huangjing soil is alluvial soil of the Yangtze River, which belongs to paddy soil. The main soil species are: shajialong covers an area of 18775.47 mu, accounting for 58.33% of the collective cultivated land during the census, which is the most widely distributed soil species in the town and distributed in all villages. The ground height is 2.4-3 meters, the soil is suitable for cultivation, and the groundwater layer is about 1 meter. It is suitable for flood and drought crops, and the suitable cultivation period is long, but some of them are sticky, and there is a little starch hardening phenomenon. Therefore, it is necessary to master the suitable cultivation period. Because of its moderate viscosity, good permeability, water and air coordination, rapid nutrient decomposition, early crop growth and stable growth, and no premature aging, sandy loam soil is an ideal high-yield soil. However, due to the wide distribution of this kind of soil, the imbalance of soil fertility is large. According to the investigation at that time, one third of the soil area has low organic matter content, and the potential fertility is still insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to combine land use with land cultivation, increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and promote straw returning to the field, so as to improve the soil fertility and the performance of fertilizer and water conservation. Laoshajialong covers an area of 4635.27 mu, accounting for 14.7% of the collective cultivated land during the census. It is distributed in Xinhua, Changle, Guangfeng and other villages, with a ground height of 2.7-3.2 meters. The parent material forms the same shajialong, which is named laoshajialong because there are obvious iron and manganese deposits at the bottom of the section.
The permeability of the soil is poor, and it is easy to be damaged by waterlogging in rainy years. Therefore, attention should be paid to ditch drainage, lowering groundwater level, increasing application of organic fertilizer, changing soil physical structure, implementing rotation, improving mineralization ability, increasing fertilizer efficiency, and promoting high yield of crops. Longjiasha covers an area of 6674.64 mu, accounting for 20.74% of the collective cultivated land during the census. It is distributed at the junction of Yongle Village, Guangle village, Guangxin village and Hehua village in the south. The ground height is 2.6-2.7m in the South and 1.8-2m in the low field. This part of the area has a lower terrain and is irrigated with clean water. There is also a part of Lihua village and Linchang village in the north, and a part of the plot at the junction of Wanxin village and Xinlian village. The parent material of the soil is close to the sand, only because the soil is slightly tight to the sand, rotten when wet, and hard when dry. The early-onset of crops is worse than that of the sand, and the later strength is better. The sand mixed area of Laolong is 1710.29 mu, accounting for 5.31% of the collective cultivated land.
Mainly distributed in Changle Village three, nine villager groups, Wanxin village south to the junction of Xinlian village, the ground height of about 2.5 meters. The soil is sticky, gray, with iron and manganese deposits. It is short of phosphorus and potassium. It has strong fertility and sufficient stamina. We should pay attention to the construction of water conservancy and open drainage ditches to cool the fields. The sand mixed area of huidicuan is 392.76 mu, accounting for 1.22% of the collective cultivated land during the census. It is distributed in some flower arranging fields of Changle Village and wangxiubaoqiao village, with a ground height of 2.6 meters. The properties of the soil is similar to that of shajialong, but it is named because there is a black gray sapropel buried layer at the bottom of the section. The improvement method is the same as that of old shajialong.
climate
Huangjing town belongs to the monsoon climate zone in the south of north subtropical zone, with mild and humid climate and four distinct seasons. According to the meteorological department's four seasons standard, that is, the average temperature below 10 ℃ is winter; the average temperature above 22 ℃ is summer; the average temperature between 10-22 ℃ is spring and autumn. According to this, the winter time in Huangjing area is about three and a half months, the summer time is about four months, and the spring and autumn seasons each account for a little more than two months. The annual average temperature is 15.3 ℃, the active accumulated temperature is 4582 ℃, the annual rainfall is 1011 mm, and the sunshine is 2015 hours.
