Yubi Township, belonging to Xiangxiang City, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, is located in the northwest of Xiangxiang City, adjacent to Longdong town in the East, Xiangxiang Economic Development Zone in the southeast, quantang town in the south, Yueshan town in the West and Baitian town in the north, with an administrative area of 88 square kilometers.
In the 35th year of Kangxi reign (1696), it was the third capital of Changle township; in February 1984, the township was restored; Huaping Township, Yuyu Township and Baqiao Township were merged into Yuyu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Yu village was 42037. As of June 2020, Yubi township has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in lunshangwan group of Changlun village.
