Laohutun town
Laohutun Town, belonging to Wafangdian City, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the middle of Wafangdian City, bounded by Gangdian street in the East, Xiling of taiyanggou village in the south, Jiulong street in the south, Yangjia Manchu Township in the West and Taiyang street in the north. Its total area is 107.95 square kilometers.
In May 1961, huhutun commune was established in Fuxian county. On March 27, 1987, it was changed into a Manchu town in Laohutun. On July 18, 2002, it was changed into Laohutun town. By the end of 2018, the total number of registered residence in the town was 24564. As of June 2020, Laohutun town has jurisdiction over one community and 14 administrative villages. The town government is located in xiaolaohutun village.
In 2018, there were 46 industrial enterprises in Laohutun Town, including 7 above scale and 85 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution

On September 9, 1983, Laohutun township was rebuilt.
On November 28, 1984, it was renamed Laohutun Manchu Township in Fuxian county.
On April 1, 1985, it was transferred to Wafangdian City.
On March 27, 1987, it was changed into a Manchu town in Laohutun.
