On December 24, 2014, zhaotan sub district office held the unveiling ceremony.

Zhaotan street is located in the west gate of Xiangtan City, adjacent to Jiefang Road in the East, yaowan street in the south, Heping Village in Changcheng Township in the west, Jianxin village and Jianglu machinery factory in Xianfeng Township in the north, Shaoshan West Road, Nanling South Road, Baoqing Road, Yingbin Road and other urban trunk roads passing through the countryside, with a rural area of 2.5 square kilometers and a total population of 25000. It governs 6 administrative villages and 2 community neighborhood committees. In 2014, the street economy and fiscal revenue grew steadily, achieving an annual tax revenue of 37.76 million yuan, the total output value of industries above Designated Size of 104.95 million yuan, and the retail sales of social consumer goods of 2835.73 million yuan. The street invested nearly 900000 yuan to build a new administrative Hall of 190 square meters, and also transformed the office yard.
