Zhongcun Yao township is a nationality township under the jurisdiction of Yanling County, which is formed by Zhongcun Township, longzha Yao Township and Pingle township.

Evolution of organizational system

In 2015, according to the township division adjustment plan of Yanling County, Zhongcun Township, longzha Yao Township and Pingle Township formed a system and merged to establish Zhongcun Yao township.
