Longhui Township

Longhui township is under the jurisdiction of Dachuan District, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. Qilongchang, built in Qing Dynasty, belongs to Chuihong township. It was set up in 1935, changed to township in 1952, renamed longhui Township in 1956, changed to longhui commune in 1958, and restored to longhui Township in 1984. Longhui township is located in the southwest of the county, on the East Bank of Bahe River, 50 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 33.3 square kilometers and has a population of 13905 (2017). Bahe is navigable throughout the year, and rural roads meet with Dazhou Guangyuan highway. It has jurisdiction over 10 village committees, including Zhoujiaping, huashipan, qiganba, xiejiaba, jiancaogou, qinglongzui, Zhangjiashan, yanxikou, dadipou and xiongjiagou.
