Gaoli Township
Gaoli Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Dingxing County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Dingxing County, adjacent to dongluobao Township in the East, Beihe town and Xianyu town in the south, Gaomo Township in Yi County in the west, Mingyi Township and hujiazhuang Township in Laishui County in the North. The maximum distance from east to west is 11.9 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 11.9 kilometers, with a total area of 82.45 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total registered residence of 56098 people was high.
Gaoli township is named after the hometown of Gao Jianli, a musician of Yan state in the Warring States period. In 1958, it was merged into Gaoli Dongfanghong commune. In 1984, it was changed to Gaoli township. As of June 2020, Gaoli township has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Gusang village. The main cultural relics in Gaoli township are the first batch of national key protected cultural relics, the yicihui stone pillar, and the huangjintai site of Yanzhao king.
In 2011, the gross agricultural product of Gaoli township was 395.56 million yuan, and the per capita income of farmers was 5785 yuan. The fiscal revenue is 1.47 million yuan, of which the local general budget revenue is 1.18 million yuan. In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises in Gaoli Township, including 2 above scale and 77 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In 1945, it was liberated and belonged to the Second District of Dingxing county.
In 1953, it belonged to Gaoli, Pingdi, Nanzhang and Chang'an City (under the jurisdiction of Shizhu).
In 1958, it was merged into Gaoli Dongfanghong commune.
In 1984, it was changed to Gaoli township.
In 1996, along the village, Yishang Township merged.

History and culture
According to Dingxing county annals, Gaoli is the hometown of Gao Jianli, a Yanren in the Warring States period, so it is named Gaoli. Gaoli township was named after its residence in Gaoli village.
In Gaoli Township, there are the first batch of national key protected cultural relics, the yicihui stone pillar and the tomb of Zhang Hongmao, a famous general of the Yuan Dynasty. There are more than 10 county-level cultural relics protection units, among which the huangjintai site of Yanzhao king is located in Beizhang village, the Pingzhang tombs are located in Hanoi village, and the millennium old cypress is located in Yancun village.
Yicihui stone pillar
Yicihui stone pillar, also known as Beiqi stone pillar, was built in the Northern Qi Dynasty. It is located on a high platform in the northwest of Shizhu village, Gaoli Township, Dingxing County, 250 meters north of Yishui river. It was first built in the second year of Daning (562).
Yicihui stone column has a special shape. The whole column is divided into three parts: foundation, column body and stone house, with a height of 6.65 meters. Dougong in stone house is the earliest physical remains of ancient architectural structure. The stone houses are carved in imitation of wood, the columns are rolled and divided, and the carving techniques are all important reference materials for the study of architecture in the northern and Southern Dynasties. The ode reflects the peasant uprising and the social situation at that time, and has a certain reference value for the study of the history of the southern and Northern Dynasties and the history of the peasant movement.

Golden platform
Golden platform, also known as Zhaoxian platform, was built by King Yanzhao during the Warring States period, where King Yanzhao respected his teacher Guo Kai. According to the records of Dingxing county annals in the 12th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, the golden platform was built by the king of Yan Zhao, and the rites were given to the officials.
