Pozi Street

Pozi street, belonging to Tianxin District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, is the agency of Changsha Tianxin District government. According to the authorization of Tianxin District People's government, it shall exercise the government management functions of party affairs, government affairs, economic and social affairs within its jurisdiction. The street is adjacent to Wuyi Avenue in the north, Kaifu District in the south, dachunqiao and Baisha road in the south, Yunan street in the south, Huangxing middle road and Huangxing South Road Pedestrian Commercial Street in the East, labor square in the south gate, Xiangjiang River in the west, and Yuelu Xiongfeng in the distance. It covers an area of 1.94 square kilometers and has a population of 16000 (in 2010).

The origin of the name

According to the annals of Shanhua County written by Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty, Pozi street is famous for its steep terrain. It is known for its prosperous business. According to Changsha county annals by Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty, "the goods from north to West Shaanxi belong to felts and wool, which are prosperous and monopolized. From Nanguan to the front of the standard department, and up and down the slope street are prosperous.". It has a long history, profound cultural heritage and many places of interest. It is at the core of the May day business circle and the central business district, which has a great impact on the development of business tourism economy.

Historical evolution

The original Pozi street and Xueyuan street were built in 1952. In 1960, they were renamed Bajiaoting branch and Xueyuan Street Branch of Xianfeng commune respectively. At that time, they were under the jurisdiction of Western District (now Yuelu District). In 1996, they were divided into Tianxin District. the original Shuyuan road street was separated from shuyuanping branch of miaogangfeng commune in Changsha in 1961 and changed to Shuyuan road street in 1979. in 2012, Pozi street, Xueyuan street and Shuyuan road in Tianxin District were abolished and merged to form a new Pozi street. The newly established pozijie street has 15 communities, including Taiping Street community, xipailou community, Bajiaoting community, pozijie community, Huangxing South Road community, wenmiaoping community, banxiang street community, dengrenqiao community, fanxixiang community, Chuxiang community, Bixiang community, Chuangyuan community, Xihu community, Shahe community and qingshanci community. In 2013, the six communities of Huangxing South Road, Pozi street, fanxi lane, dengrenqiao, wenmiaoping and banxiang street were integrated into three communities: Pozi street community, dengrenqiao community and wenmiaoping community. After integration, the number of communities under the jurisdiction of Pozi Street changed from 15 to 12.

Pozi Street Community

Pozijie community is located in the downtown commercial area of Changsha. It was established on October 15, 2013 after the merger of the former Huangxing South Road community and pozijie community. It starts from Huangxing South Road Pedestrian Commercial Street in the East, reaches riverside scenery belt in the west, Jiefang West Road in the north and Renmin West Road in the south, with a total area of 0. 2 square kilometers. The office service room covers an area of more than 450 square meters, and various functional facilities are basically in place. There are 1708 permanent residents and 3691 permanent residents. There are more than 100 large and small enterprises and institutions in the area, including the historic fire palace, the modern pedestrian street, commercial square and Yuehui.

Qingshanci community

It is located in miaoguangxia of Shuyuan Road, covering an area of 0.2 square kilometers. It has 2655 households, 7231 permanent residents, 148 members directly in charge of the community, 2 Party branches under the general Party branch, 14 party groups, 5 non-public enterprise party organizations, and 80 on-the-job party members.

Chuangyuan community

Shuyuan road in the East, Xiangjiang River scenery belt in the west, Dachun bridge shaping in the south, Laodong West Road in the north, has a superior geographical location and beautiful cultural environment. There are Wenjin ferry, Siyang fangzun, Changsha old power station and other historical relics in the area. The community covers an area of 0.16 square kilometers, 1816 households, 5536 people, and 10 units in the area. Chuangyuan garden and Shuyuan Guandi are new high-grade buildings Residential district is a new type of community which combines the old shantytown with the new residential district.

Bixiang community

It is adjacent to Huangxing South Road Pedestrian Street in the East, Shuyuan road in the west, Shahe street in the South and Xihu road in the north. It covers an area of 0.12 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 1547 households and 3687 people. The community is located in the most prosperous and bustling south gate of Changsha, just one street away from the most popular commercial pedestrian street of Huangxing South Road. The famous Changsha hospital of traditional Chinese medicine is located in the southwest corner of the community. Nanmenkou vegetable market, with a long history, is located in the center of the community. Xihu Road, a high-risk chemical Street, is the economic pillar of our community. A variety of famous snacks welcome visitors from all over the world, bringing vitality to the economic development of the community.

Shahe community

Located at No. 90, Shahe street, in 2001, the original neighborhood committees of Zhu Weigang, Ma Yishun, Shuyuan road and Shahe Street formed the Shahe community residents committee. One of the characteristics of Shahe community is that there are many units and shops in the area, and the economy is dense. The larger enterprises include metallurgical industry office, Changfang Hotel, metallurgical Hotel and Changsha demaolong soy sauce garden. The North-South trend of the community is the extension line of Huangxing South Road Pedestrian Commercial Street, a famous commercial golden area in Changsha City. It integrates clothing, snacks, accommodation and community services, especially the Yijia Jiangji clavicle shop and Wupo smelly Ganzi.

Bajiaoting community

Located in the front of "fanbei" in Tianxin District, it is adjacent to Kaifu District from Wuyi West Road in the north, Huangxing middle road in the East and Furong district in the East, Jiefang West Road in the south, Sanxing street and Santai street in the west, covering an area of 0.25 square kilometers, with a total number of 1823 households and a total population of 4815 people. It is the gateway to the north of Tianxin District and a window to show Tianxin's elegant demeanour. Its location advantage is very obvious.

Xipailou community

Located in the downtown area, North Wuyi Road, South to West liberation road, West Taiping old street, East Sanxing street, the area is about 0.075 square kilometers, registered residence population of 1081 households, the total population of 4308 people. There are 24 resident groups in the community, including 100 directly managed party members, 34 on-the-job party members, 52 low-income families, 52 disabled people and 3 non residents. The key units in the jurisdiction include Beishan construction company, xipailou shoes market and more than 500 self-employed households, as well as Jia Yi's former residence, Taiping Street Historical and cultural street and other historical sites.

Taiping Street Community

It is the ancient city district of Tianxin District on the East Bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is the most complete street in the original street pattern of the ancient city of Changsha. It is the memorial place of qujia culture, the inheritance place of commercial folk custom, and the birthplace of the revolution of 1911. Taiping Street community is close to Juzizhou bridge. It is located on the East Bank of Xiangjiang River from Jiefang intersection to Wuyi intersection. It starts from Jiefang West Road in the south, ends at Wuyi Road in the north, starts from Taiping Street in the East and ends at Xiangjiang Avenue in the West. The framework of streets and alleys retains the pattern of the early Qing Dynasty, and reflects the Changsha style in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.

Dengrenqiao community

Dengrenqiao community is one of the 12 communities under the jurisdiction of Pozi street, Tianxin District. It is adjacent to the bustling commercial pedestrian street of Huangxing South Road in the East, Gutan street in the west, shanglijiapo in the north and Xihu road in the south. It covers a total area of 0.21 square kilometers. It is a typical shantytown with more than 3900 households, more than 9580 permanent residents, more than 4220 floating population and one unit (Changsha Changjun Middle School) ）。

Wenmiaoping community

Located in the north of Tianxin District, Changsha City, adjacent to the east side of the beautiful Xiangjiang River scenery belt, Pozi street in the north and Xihu road in the south. It covers an area of 0.2 square kilometers, with 3630 households and 8725 residents. The area has convenient transportation, dense population and profound cultural heritage. Wenmiaoping community is located in the center of the old city, which is a typical old shantytown of pure residents. There are 14 community workers and 175 party members in the area. There are two historical and cultural streets, wenmiaoping and Gutan street.

Xihu community

Located at No.60 xiabixiang street, it is adjacent to the riverside scenery belt in the west, Xihu road in the north, Yunong street in the South and Shuyuan road in the East. The total area of the community is 0.16 square kilometers, with more than 2300 households, 7100 permanent residents and 1500 floating population. Chuxiang community

Located on the Bank of Xiangjiang River, it starts from Shuyuan Road, the old street of ancient city in the East, faces the scenic belt along the river in the west, opens a food street in the south, Laodong West Road, and ends at Yunong street in the north. It is a typical pattern of the old city. The community area is about 0.11 square kilometers, with 4 units, 28 building leaders, 2 shantytowns (Xiangjiawan and Chuxiang Street), 1710 households, about 5400 people.

The main streets in the jurisdiction are Yaowang street, Sanxing street, Taiping Street, Pozi street, etc. The starting and ending points of the main road are: Huangxing South Road: north-south, South Qisi gate, north to the central square of Huangxing Road commercial pedestrian street. Xiangjiang Avenue: South to north, starting from the east of Xiangjiang first bridge in the South and ending at the west entrance of Renmin West Road in the north. Renmin West Road: from east to west, it starts from the central square of Huangxing South Road commercial pedestrian street in the East and ends at Xiangjiang Avenue in the West. Wuyi Avenue: East to west, starting from Pinghetang in the East and reaching the east of Xiangjiang bridge in the West.
