Liuzao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Dingzhou, adjacent to Wangdu County in the East and North, daluzhuang Township in the south, and Qingfengdian town in the West. The maximum distance from east to west is 16.8 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13.2 kilometers, with a total area of 86.87 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of the registered residence was 50104.
In 1953, it belonged to Baijiazhuang, liuzao and Gaojiu. In 1961, liuzao commune was established. In 1982, liuzao township was established. In 1994, it was changed to liuzao town. As of June 2020, liuzao town has 37 village committees and the people's Government of liuzao town is located in zaoxijie village.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of liuzao town reached 588 million yuan. The total revenue was 4.03 million yuan, an increase of 1% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises in liuzao Town, including 2 above scale and 54 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
