Chenghe town is located in the northeast of Xiangzhou District, Xiangyang City, the vice central city of Hubei Province. It borders Zaoyang City in the East, Xinye County in Henan Province in the west, and Tanghe County in Henan Province in the north. It is known as "one foot two provinces, Jiming four counties". Regional climate

Chenghe town has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature is 16 ℃ - 20 ℃, the annual average rainfall is 880-1100mm, and the annual average relative humidity is 75%. The terrain of the town is flat, mainly alluvial flat source and hillock land. Tangbai river passes through the town in the west of Chenghe Town, and medium-sized heiqinghe reservoir is located in the east of the town. In 2016, the total output value of large-scale industrial production reached 810 million yuan, including 2 new enterprises and 1 small enterprise. Yangsilang biopharmaceutical project progressed rapidly, Yumian textile production and sales were booming, Shanmei textile was put into operation smoothly, and Qinglong pipe industry was built and put into operation in the same year. The first phase of 1000 mu modern asparagus demonstration park is under construction, and the planting area will reach more than 5000 mu in three years. The ten thousand mu aquaculture project invested and constructed by Zhang Tianliang, a native of Zhangzhuang village, has been settled in Zhaopo village. It mainly cultivates Zhongke No.3 crucian carp and yellow croaker. After being put into operation, the annual output value can reach 200 million yuan. The project is under construction in 2012.

Willow industry

Chenghe is rich in high-quality wicker. It is known as the "hometown of willow weaving" far and near. It is also known as the three major willow weaving bases in China, together with Gushi in Henan Province and Linyi in Shandong Province.
