Xiabaoping Township

Xiabaoping township is located in the north of Yiling District, Yichang City, covering an area of 257 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Huanghua Township in the East, Letianxi town in the south, Xingshan County in the West and wuduhe town in the north. It is 80 kilometers away from Yichang City and 35 kilometers away from the Three Gorges area.

natural resources

There are 35 villages with 19633 people (in 2017), 33500 mu of arable land and 289400 mu of mountain forest. It is rich in forest, land and mineral resources. Gold, pyrite and other mineral resources have high grade and large reserves. Granite resources such as Three Gorges Green, Three Gorges red and sesame white are all over the township.
