Daxing Town

Daxing Town, under the jurisdiction of Changtu County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Changtu County, adjacent to the old town in the East, Liangzhongqiao town in the south, Jinjia town in the West and toudao town in the north, with an administrative area of 80 square kilometers.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Fourth District of Changtu County (Jinjia town) and Yihe township of Changtu County. In 1984, Daxing Township was changed. In 2013, Daxing Township moved from township to town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Daxing town was 16660. As of June 2020, Daxing town has 10 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Daxing town was 5.12 million yuan. In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in Daxing Town, including one above scale and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Fourth District of Changtu County (Jinjia town) and Yihe township of Changtu County.

In 1947, it belonged to the fourth district.

In March 1958, it belonged to Daxing Township; in October of the same year, it belonged to Jinjia town.

In 1961, Daxing commune was established.

In 1984, Daxing Township was changed.

In 2013, Daxing Township moved from township to town.

By the end of 2011, Daxing town had 10 administrative villages: Yihe, bianjia, Wangjia, Chenjia, Daxing, Kalou, houshuangjingzi, houxinglong, Liuzhangzi and Taiping.

As of June 2020, Daxing town has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages: houxinglonggou village, Liuzhangzi village, Yihe village, Kalou village, houshuangjingzi village, bianjia village, Chenjia village, Taiping Village, Daxing village and Wangjia village. The town people's government is stationed in Daxing village.

History and culture
